How to Apply

Scoop a pea-sized amount with clean, dry fingers. Our whipped texture melts instantly on contact with skin—no warming needed. Gently pat or massage into clean skin. Face, body, hands, wherever you need moisture.

Texture & Seasonal Changes

Our small-batch whipped tallow naturally responds to temperature. These shifts are normal and a sign of pure, simple ingredients.

In Warmer Weather The balm may soften or melt. If this happens, refrigerate with the lid off to allow it to re-solidify.

In Cooler Weather The balm may become quite firm, especially in winter. It will still melt on skin contact, but you can warm the jar in your hands or place it in warm water for a few minutes to soften.

Storage & Freshness

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. While shelf-stable, tallow performs best when used fresh—ideally within 8-12 weeks of opening, and up to 9 months from purchase.

We're a small, family-run business in South Dakota crafting tallow-based skincare with intention. Every batch is handmade in our home studio—no mass production, no outsourcing, just careful formulation and genuine care for what goes on your skin.

Our Tallow

We source 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow from small, sustainable Wisconsin farms. It's dry-rendered using a traditional low-and-slow method that preserves nutrients and natural fat profiles—no homogenization, bleaching, or deodorizing. Just pure, minimally processed tallow at its best.

Our Return Policy

We don't accept returns due to the handmade, fresh nature of our skincare. That said, if something arrives broken, wrong, or defective, we'll take care of you. Contact us at flowerandmeadowbodycare@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order—include your order number, photos of the issue, and a quick description of what happened. We'll sort it out with a replacement or store credit.

Shipping

Orders go out Monday–Wednesday and take 2-4 business days to process before shipping. We use USPS with tracking on every order. Delivery typically takes 5-10 business days once shipped.

Free shipping on orders over $75.

Missing Packages

Once USPS marks your package as delivered, we can't be responsible for missing or stolen orders. Check with neighbors or file a claim with USPS if your order doesn't show up.
