Collection: Whipped Tallow Balms

Before modern skincare, there was tallow.

For centuries, grass-fed beef tallow was the cornerstone of skin care — and for good reason. Tallow is uniquely biocompatible with human skin, meaning it works with your skin's natural biology rather than sitting on top of it. Rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with conjugated linoleic acid and natural antimicrobial properties, tallow absorbs deeply to nourish at a cellular level in a way most modern moisturizers simply can't replicate.

At Flower & Meadow Co., we source our tallow exclusively from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle from Wisconsin farms — because the quality of what goes on your skin matters just as much as what goes in your body. Our tallow is slowly rendered, carefully purified, and whipped into a silky, non-greasy balm that melts effortlessly into your skin.

No fillers. No unnecessary additives. Because tallow is an anhydrous formula — meaning it contains no water — it requires nothing extra to keep it safe and stable. When we scent our balms, we use only phthalate-free fragrance or pure essential oils, selected intentionally to enhance your experience without compromising the integrity of the formula.

Whether you're dealing with dry patches, sensitive skin, eczema, or simply want a deeper level of hydration than conventional moisturizers can offer, our tallow balms deliver. Available in a range of thoughtfully crafted scents — or completely unscented for the purists — each balm is made in small batches by hand in our South Dakota studio.

This is skincare stripped back to what actually works. Simple, ancestral, and quietly luxurious.
